ALGWA President

Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) is committed to enhancing democracy for all Australians.

The Australian Local Government Women’s Association wants more women in local government! We want women nominating to run for councils, to win and to have long and successful council careers.

No-one knows what you're going through like us because we've been there. We share the same lived experiences. We're on the same journey and we have your back!

If women don't support each other, advocate for each other, mentor each other, who will? Women need to lift other women up and that's what we do at ALGWA.
